Food Safety is one of the most important public health issues world wide. It has also become one of the most challenging social issues in China that needs to be addressed. China’s food production is facing unprecedented challenges. It is dominated by millions of food producers, that is small farms, businesses and catering organizations; these demand utmost attention with regards to food safety in China, because of the necessity to maintain high safety standards for small farms and related food businesses.
This Think Tank brings together businessmen, government officials, academics, lawyers and documentation experts from China and the EU in order to improve mutual understanding and research on Food Law in both continents.
